This past month Perceptions dancers Laura Colón and Kyung Joon Lee performed PCDC rep “Ancient Bruises” at the 2nd Annual CheckUsOut Dance Festival in Central Park. A naturally beautiful setting with beautiful hosts – Perceptions Dance was able to bring beauty to an audience of over 200 people.
NYC Dance Blogger Amber Connors Marino was one of those 200 in the audience. In a post-show review, Amber wrote:
The dance was filled with inventive lifts and dynamic uses of tempo change to seemingly stop time for fleeting intimate glimpses. Dancers, Laura Colon and Kyung Joon Lee portrayed a believable and endearing chemistry together that toed-the-line separating love and hate.
